Sorcerer's apprentices take note: If you've ever wanted to be in a «Harry Potter» movie, now's your chance! All you need to do is go to Scotland and take along a wad of cash.
Author J.K. Rowling is auctioning off two roles, for the movie «Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire», for which producer David Heyman has left a gap in the screenplay. Proceeds are going toScotland's Multiple Sclerosis Society. Rowling's mother Anne died 13 years ago of MS, and her successful daughter has been helping to fight the disease ever since. The auction will be held at a gala charity event on November 28, 2003 at the National Museum in Edinburgh, but it will take a hefty £175 just to get in the door. Winners should keep a few months free starting next April, that's when production on «Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire» is due to start.
