Hail to the overpaid

True to tradition, Forbes magazine has published a new list, this time focusing on revenues generated by Hollywood stars in relation to their salaries over the past 5 years.

At the top of the list of overpaid actors, Will Ferrell brings in only $3.29 for each dollar he earns, followed by Ewan McGregor, whose lack of refinement in his choice of projects since «Stars Wars: Episode III» limits his return on investment to 375%. Also on the list are Billy Bob Thornton, Drew Barrymore Leonardo DiCaprio and Jim Carrey.

On the other end of the scale is Shia LaBeouf, with $160 for each dollar he earns, followed by Robert Downey Jr. and Christian Bale - the most bankable stars since 2004.
