Quentin has been madly in love with his neighbor Margo Roth Spiegelman since the day he first saw her. But their fast friendship does not last into their teens and Quentin is forced to watch Margo – who has become one of the most popular girls in high school – from the sidelines, especially at the prom. One night, she suddenly climbs in through his bedroom window and takes him on a moonlight adventure. The next morning, completely smitten, Quentin finds out that Margo has disappeared. He decides to go looking for her, no matter what the price …

Those who suffered through the soppy Fault in Our Stars, the inexplicable phenomenon of bookstores and movie theaters, may think they should avoid Paper Towns, the latest adaptation of a book by John Green. But no: this movie by Jake Schreier, the director of the average Robot and Frank, is one of the most beautiful movies about adolescence to come out in years, even better than The Spectacular Now and The Perks of Being a Wallflower. With a sweet ambiance reminiscent of the movies of John Hughes, the maker of the legendary Breakfast Club, Paper Town recycles teen movie codes (a trio of teen geeks, unrequited love, a road trip, the prom) for an astonishingly mature and melancholy journey. Model Cara Delevingne’s energetic debut (her next part will be in Suicide Squad and an upcoming project by Luc Besson) matches her very well.
