In his second gangster movie after In Bruges, Irish director Martin McDonagh tells the story of a scriptwriter in Hollywood (Colin Farrell) and his friend (Sam Rockwell) who make ends meet kidnapping dogs. While the script is stuck at the title phase – «Seven Psychopaths» – dognapping is big business. Until our heroes get into real trouble when the friend takes the lapdog of a tough and crazy mob boss (Woody Harrelson), who mows down anyone in the way of getting his doggie back.
