Like his character, Adam Sandler seems to have just wanted to see his old friends again: Chris Rock, Rob Schneider, Kevin James and Sandler all came up together as stand-up comedians and are now heavy box office hitters. The result is a chatty comedy with humor well below the belt and dialogue that is full of nothing but wisecracks and sketch set-ups. The problem is that it was obviously more fun on the set than it is onscreen...
