Océans
After exploring the Earth and insects in "Microcosmos", and scoured the skies following birds in "Winged Migration", producer Jacques Perrin and director Jacques Cluzaud zoom in on the marine diversity: dolphins, skates, sharks, whales, jellyfish, but also trachurus, blue runners, stenellas, Spanish dancers, sweetlips and slingjaw wrasses, as well as cormorants, sea-lions, penguins, bears, turtles and seals which all, in this submarine adventure, reach pitch-perfect performances! After "The Cove" and its didactic lesson, "Oceans" presents itself as an opportunity to identify with the thousand species that are captured by fishing nets or threatened by pollution, over-fishing, and the general lack of respect towards this world that makes up 3/4 of our planet. Breathtaking documentary with the occasional touch of humour, that was produced using previously unseen state-of-the-art techniques.
