Crazy Heart
Image galleryAlcoholic, broke, the father of a son he never knew, chain-smoker and overweight, a former country legend pushing 60 somehow survives by giving concerts in seedy bars and half-empty bowling alleys in the small towns of Texas. Only a few old fans remember him and his hits. During his "tour", he reconnects with his old protégé, who has now become a big star, and meets a young journalist and single mother whose little boy makes him think about cleaning up his act. Not necessarily his best, Jeff Bridges' role in this melancholy road movie nonetheless has a good chance of getting him an Oscar. Also starring Colin Farrell, Maggie Gyllenhaal and Robert Duvall, a legend in his own right.
