Champions
Gigi Poltera's glory days are long gone. A former hockey pro for EHC Arosa, he almost won the Swiss championships and married the president's attractive daughter. Now he's divorced and working as postman. But Arosa's hockey team is also doing badly: the club is almost bankrupt and its experienced players are for sale. Gigi's best friend Sturzi has the brilliant idea of getting old pros back on the ice. EHC Arosa was one of Switzerland's best hockey teams until 1986, when financial reasons forced it to downgrade to the premiere league. Over 20 years later, former pro Riccardo Signorell
orchestrates the near-downfall of Graubünden's hockey club. The movie itself fails due to its meager script, resulting in a lame comedy that is destined to fight to survive in the regional league.
