Capitalism: A Love Story
For his new documentary, Michael Moore vehemently denounces the spoils of capitalism, calling the $700 billion bailout by the Bush administration as the greatest economic coup in history. To demonstrate just how synonymous capitalism is with greed and pure evil, Moore uses examples like insurance companies who make millions when their young employees die; airlines whose badly paid pilots (they make 3 times less than coop bakers) are forced to take a second job; and especially the directors of Goldman Sachs, who he says manipulated American authorities to fill their pockets and sink the competition. In addition to the usual suspects in the US banking sector, Moore also takes aim at UBS and Nestlé. Whether or not one agrees with his political opinion - lefties unite! - "Capitalism: A Love Story" is well-paced, dramatic, easy to understand as it explains the complex American political and financial systems, and especially very, very funny!
