Pressured by his wife for money, a newly fired alcoholic CIA agent decides to write a tell-all book about the American government. But the former spy doesn't know his soon-to-be ex-wife is having an affair with a former federal marshal and has snooped through his hard-drive, finding the book, which she hopes contains details that will turn the divorce to her advantage. Then she leaves a CD copy at the gym, where it is found by two employees, who hope to sell it back to its author. Spy movie parody directed by the Coen Brothers, in which some intensely stupid characters are caught up in a giant snowball of a plot.
