Patrick Fabian (born December 7, 1964) is an American actor who has a number of television credits to his name including Big Love, Joan of Arcadia, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, 24, Veronica Mars, Rude Awakening, Xena: Warrior Princess, Star Trek: Voyager.
Life and career
Fabian has found much of his fame in playing college professors, including Professor of Anthropology Jeremiah Lasky at the fictional California University in Saved by the Bell: The College Years, Professor of Criminology Hank Landry of Hearst, another fictional college, on the show Veronica Mars, and yet another college professor in a 1993 episode of Beverly Hills, 90210.
On Ugly Betty he appeared as one of the hosts of the fictional channel "Fashion TV", and he played villainous car company executive Mark Chase in an episode of Pushing Daisies. He also was in the pilot episode of Boston Common playing Professor Reed. Most recently, Fabian plays the role of Ted Price on the HBO drama Big Love.
Fabian is also of Armenian descent and co-starred in the Disney Channel Original Movie Twitches and reprised his role in 2007 for Twitches Too on the Disney Channel. He was the commercial spokesman for the Hyundai Motor Company and also appeared in commercials for ING Direct and Bellin Hospital based in Green Bay, Wisconsin. He also guest starred in the Fox original series Bones. Fabian stars also in the Eli Roth-produced and Daniel Stamm-directed film The Last Exorcism, portraying the Reverend Cotton Marcus.
Fabian is currently the spokesman for Bellin Health in Green Bay, WI, appearing in television commercials to promote varying hospital services.
