Birthday: 19.03.1939 Bertrand Blier (born 14 March 1939) is a French screenwriter and film director.
Born in Boulogne-Billancourt, France. He is the son of Bernard Blier. His 1996 film Mon Homme was entered into the 46th Berlin International Film Festival. A persuasive defence of Blier's work up until 2000 was written by Sue Harris, Queen Mary College, London and published in 2001 By Manchester University Press.
