Allen Stephen Covert (born October 13, 1964) is an American comedian, actor, writer, and producer best known for his frequent collaborations with actor Adam Sandler.

Personal life
Covert was born in West Palm Beach, Florida and educated at New York University, where he was a classmate and Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity brother of Adam Sandler. The two have remained friends since, and have also developed a professional partnership that has continued throughout both of their careers. Covert has served as a performer, writer, and/or producer for almost every film and comedy album Sandler has ever released.
Covert's father was Jewish and his mother was a Southern Baptist; Covert identifies as Jewish.
